Poem

Plain Sight

February 11, 2024 Kylie

Tis’ with time and tide

I feel you rise

Plain sight the only place to hide

Bravado primed, inward sighs

Bubbling depths of pride

Crushing breaths, penance or prize

Tis’ a slippery slide

My smile a guise

Yet you shall set again, tired

Upon which my struggle relies
